Lily’s grandmother, her halmoni, is very ill, so Lily, her mother, and her resentful teenage sister Sam move in with Halmoni for the summer. But at Halmoni’s house, a tiger from one of her old stories keeps appearing to Lily. The tiger tells Lily that the only way for Halmoni to get better is if Lily gives the tiger some dangerous stories that Halmoni stole as a child.
