3 books that will inspire you
“Books that will inspire you” is a broad category, so I’ll explain a little bit about what I mean. Books that inspire you, at least as I think of them, are books that make you think in a different way, that inspire you to make the world a better place, or show you how others have changed the world. Here are a few of those books.
The first one is called A Boy, a Mole, a Fox, and a Horse, and it’s about how these four friends (the species of which you can probably guess from the title) learn about life and talk about bravery, snow, and cake, among other things. It sounds babyish but I promise it’s not. It’s very poetic and deep in a lot of ways. Just read it. You’ll understand.
The next one is one you’ve probably heard of, unless you’ve lived under a rock literature-wise for the last 11 years. It’s I Am Malala, and although it is famous, way too many people have never read it, which kind of makes me lose faith in humanity.
The last one is called The Poet’s Dog, and it’s really sad. But it has hope too, and the end is sweet. It is really more a poetry book than a fiction book, but that’s the best thing about it. This one is really more inspirational if you want to be a writer.
If you want to be inspired, read at least one of these and maybe all of them?? I wish I would have had Thanksgiving books to recommend, but is there really such a thing as a Thanksgiving genre? Doubtful. But I promise I will recommend some Christmas books later in the season. Happy holidays!
